Sozai Center is a material research and design institute that was created in collaboration with founders, KOMORU Co. Ltd., and product designers, M&T. Sozai Center’s mission is to take waste products (such as apple pomace and oyster shells) from various parts of Japan and collaborate with local universities to create new materials and products from the research findings. To emphasize their positioning as a research center, the identity is structured as an archive system to be used across web and social media.
